Michelin Star Dining at Seaham Hall
The White Room, is the finest Michelin star restaurant in County Durham, and you’ll want to tell your friends about it, whether you’re here as a private guest, visiting on business or simply because it’s your local restaurant. There are three kitchens in the hotel, all serving food made with the finest ingredients.
The Good Food Guide gave the restaurant at Seaham Hall a score of 6 and Harden’s Restaurant Guide gave us a Remy award as one of the top twenty restaurants outside London, and we were awarded 3 rosettes by the AA.

Please note: As from 31st August 2009, The White Room is closed for lunch between a Monday and Saturday.

Directions

Perched on the edge of the North Sea and surrounded by some of the wildest, most beautiful countryside in the land. Seaham Hall is just three hours from London by train, and a good deal less if you fly. (We’re close to two international airports: Newcastle and Teesside.)

FROM THE SOUTH A1
Take the exit at Junction 62 for the A690 signposted Sunderland. Travel North through Houghton le spring until the roundabout signposted A19. Take the exit for the A19 (Teesside) southband. Come off the A19 at the first exit marked B1404 Seaham. At the traffic lights go straight ahead onto Lord Byron’s Walk. Follow the road for half a mile and go over a level crossing, and then turn right into Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa Entrance.

FROM THE NORTH A19
Come off the A19 at the B1404 Seaham junction. At the junction turn left into Seaham. At the traffic lights go straight ahead onto Lord Byron’s walk. Follow the road for half a mile and go over a level crossing, and then turn right into Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa Entrance.

FROM THE SOUTH A19
Come off the A19 at A1018 Sunderland and Ryhope junction. At the roundabout turn right onto the B1285 to Seaham. At the traffic lights turn left onto Lord Byron’s Walk. Follow the road for half a mile and go over a level crossing, and then turn right into Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa Entrance.

For Events and Conferences:
Do not turn right into the Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa entrance but continue straight on. At the T junction turn right and the Seaham Hall meeting and events car park is approximately 100m further along to the right.
